About Me
My name is Danny Martinez. I was born and raised in Marietta, GA and lived in Georgia for my whole life but in various cities within. I have been an aspiring artist since I was 5 years old watching how to draw tutorials during cartoon commercial breaks. From there art and illustration became my best hobby, then my passion, and eventually my career. I am most proficient at comic book characters, cartoons, and storyboards. I am a college graduate of UGA with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology focused on Pre-med. There I was taught various biological processes, mechanics, phenomenon, etc. There, I achieved a statistical and analytical way of thinking that I continuously use and pair with my creative processes even today. After years of pursuing a career in early Medicine, I realized my true passion for art and animation. From there, I went on to achieve a Master’s Degree in Arts with a concentration in Digital Animation. In this degree, I was taught 3D and 2D animation software basics, along with pipeline process, Adobe Creative Cloud Softwares, and creative production techniques. I have experience doing illustration commissions for coworkers, clients, and friends over the years. I intend to focus on illustration and 3D Animation as future career goals where I can express creativity and bring images to life to inspire a new generation of creativity!
